Ahead of her EP scheduled to release this summer, Becky Bowe pulls at the heartstrings with her new single ‘Getting Older’ via Two Bridge Recordings. You may recognize Bowe from BBC's Pitch Battle in 2017. More noteworthy successes that the songstress has achieved thus far include performing alongside acclaimed acts Kelis and Will Young. Her single ’That’s How Love Works’ ranked number 9 on the UK iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts, as well as featuring on BBC Introducing York. Bowe has also been featured on renowned Youtube channels Sofar Sounds and Ont' Sofa.

Becky Bowe shares her thoughts: “‘Getting Older’ is about the point in your life where you are so focused on what you want to do but you lose focus in your social life. It’s a song describing that journey of growing up and how it feels really bizarre and that everything sometimes becomes an excuse but eventually you get the hang of it. You might lose touch with people on the way but then become close again. It’s about not allowing yourself to get worked up about it. It’s just the process of growing up”

Music blog Muze FM adds, “Bowe’s vocals shine bright among the cheerful soundscapes in ‘Getting Older’, with a heartfelt sentiment in her lyrics and soaring vocal stylings.”

Bowe shares her opinion on a process that we all have to go through in our lives, whether we like it or not. The songstress handles the conflict in the lyrics with graceful conviction in her vocals.
